Yes, there is seniority protection for in-service civil servants selected through BCSE. Firstly, seniority protection exists during promotion meaning if civil servants is in SS3 A prior to selection through BCSE, his last date of promotion shall be considered as the date when he was promoted to SS3 A. Secondly, the in-service civil servants need not serve probation period provided he had already completed the probation period in the earlier position and thirdly, in-service civil servants can avail long term study after completion two years provided he has completed probation period in his previous position.

Failure to do so shall lead to compulsorily retirement after paying financial obligation as per the Undertaking signed.
